Although I’m not surprised by the number of comments we received to my story on Friday about what Rogers will charge customers who buy Apple’s iPhone 3G, I must say I’m a little taken aback by their vitriol.

seems so, but one must never under estimate the power of dumb crowd, who’ll just follow anything that others do

So Apple is probably right at it, they’v always been criticized for overpricing their products and nothings gonna stop them.


iPhone will be sold like hot cakes , no matter how over priced they are, but on the other hand, i cant see any other mobile phone offering touchscreen, high quality multimedia play , 8 to 16 GB of memory for that price.

Nokia and sony do have few phones that come close on spec sheet and are bit cheaper but those are old phones and when they were launched they themselves costed a treasure.

iPhone’s prices (again) will be dropped after 2-3 mnths , so I guess better answer for those low on budget is to wait and buy after 2-3 mnths
